We will begin Dante's
Inferno on Thursday. Come ready to take some notes and experience Dante's journey through hell and into paradise. You will meet interesting characters, such as: Beatrice~Dante's love, and Chiron~the ferryman of the River Styx, and Cerberus~Hades' three headed dog. Virgil will guide as we travel the Nine Circles of Hell, covered in 33 Cantos. It will be a fast and furious journey.
We will add to your knowledge of Classic World Literature as we finish up this awesome sophomore year.
